SHOPIAN: Government forces on Tuesday evening fired several shots in the air after two motorcycle-borne youth did not stop to their signal at a check post in south Kashmir’s Shopian district.
A police official said that forces resorted to aerial firing in Pir Pora village of Shopian after two motorcyclists jumped the check post.
The forces, according to the official, later laid a siege around the area and started a search operation.
