Many dev initiatives for J&K in Budget 2021-22: Jitender Singh

JAMMU: Maintaining that  Government of India (GoI) is working for the welfare of common masses, the MoS  PMO, Dr Jitendra Singh Saturday said that the recently announced Budget stores a lot of developmental initiatives for Jammu and Kashmir.

Addressing a news conference, in Jammu, Dr Jatinder Singh as per news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), said that a huge budget has been sanctioned by the central government for the development of Jammu and Kashmir that include, better road connectivity, railways, metro for both the regions.

Singh said that there were rumours about the recent budget It will have a harsh impact and many will suffer loss but all the sectors have been given due share and no one has been omitted from the equal amount of share.

Flanked by the BJP J&K president Ravinder Raina and other leaders, the MoS said that a series of schemes and reforms were made in the budget.

“The introduction of national education council will benefit the students, new Sanik schools have been proposed. National education policy has been introduced having an exclusive benefit for the student community,” he said. 

“Start-up India initiative has been started for the youth to benefit them while the elderly over 75-year-old persons have been exempted from tax-paying. Women have been benefited with the allotment of gas cylinders,” Singh said. 

Singh said the entire world has accepted India but people are supposed to play their role positively and this budget from the government won’t only show progress at the national level but internationally as well.

“Ever since Modi ji has become Prime Minister, the central government has worked for the welfare of people and huge projects have been announced including the AIIMS, Biotech park. We have always worked for a good sound society with a positive narrative under unity,” he said.

“Very soon India will emerge as a powerful country across the globe with PM Modi’s new idea desiring to see J&K as a great part of it,” he said.

The MoS said that India will be a frontline nation across the globe and for that this union budget is a vision document.

“With this approach from PM Modi, the entire world has started to look up to India now,” he said.
