PULWAMA: A meeting of District level Screening cum Co-ordination Committee (DLSCC) was held here today under the chairmanship of District Magistrate (DM) Pulwama, Baseer Ul Haq Choudhary.
Out of 33 cases taken up for discussion, the meeting cleared 18 cases including 03 cases of death, 05 cases of damages and 02 cases of injury and 07 cases of SRO-43 and one police personal case approved in favour of the NoKs of Militancy victims under Death/Missing/Injured/Damaged and SRO-43 cases as per the guidelines laid under Government Order No. Home-228 of 2017, dated 16-03-2017.
The eligibility including qualification of the applicants was also taken into account while deciding the appointments cases. The Reports from Police, CID and Army were thoroughly discussed while deciding the cases. All the necessary guidelines as per SRO-43 were also kept in view.
Speaking on the occasion, the DM said District Administration shall ensure there is nil pendency of such cases requiring immediate relief to the people. He stressed the concerned Officers ensure speedy disposal of all such cases for timely clearance of the cases.
Among others, the meeting was attended by SSP Pulwama and Awantipora, Additional Deputy Commissioners of Tral, Awantipora and Pulwama, Superintending Engineer R&B Pulwama, Assistant Commissioner Pulwama, Chief Medical Officer and various Officers from Police, Army, CID besides other concerned.
