SAMBA: Deputy Commissioner Samba, Abhishek Sharma chaired a District Level Committee meeting to discuss the preparations of the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra, here today.
During the meeting, the Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Samba was entrusted with the responsibility of ensuring the safety and security of the Yatra in every Panchayat. It was emphasized that the route chart should be shared with every police station for better coordination.
The Subdivision Magistrates Ghaghwal and Vijaypur were directed to ensure the implementation of the directives at the grassroots level.
All concerned were instructed to submit the status of saturation flagship schemes and submit the list of beneficiaries of each panchayat. Additionally, it was decided to set up a control room, led by the District Information Officer, along with representatives from other departments, for getting video testimonials of beneficiaries.
The Jal Shakti department was assigned the task of ensuring water availability at the event venues. The lead manager bank was entrusted with providing banking services at the sites.
District Social Welfare Officer was tasked to identify women achievers in every Panchayat, while the District Youth Services and Sports Officer was directed to identify sports persons at the Panchayat and ward level.
It was emphasized that a celebratory spirit should be ensured throughout the Yatra.
