UDHAMPUR: One day awareness cum active TB case finding programme was organized by District Jail Authority in collaboration with District Tuberculosis Hospital, Udhampur in the premises of Jail Complex here today.
District Tuberculosis Officer, Dr. Kavi Raj and his team delivered a lecture to jail inmates and staff members about the symptoms, causes, Origin, prevention, Management, harmful effects and treatment of T.B disease.
Superintendent District Jail, Harish Kotwal presented vote of thanks to District medical team of T.B Hospital. He advised the inmates to be cautious and careful for their health.
Later, awareness literature was also distributed among the Jail inmates.
