JAMMU: Director Tribal Affairs, Musheer Ahmad today paid surprise visit to Gujjar and Bakerwal/Scheduled Tribes (G&B/ST) Hostels of Jammu District.
During the visit, the director interacted with the Wardens and other staff of Hostels and instructed them for immediate renovation and completion of all pending works for establishing the Smart Classes and Digital Libraries in Hostels.
He also directed the concerned Wardens for immediate installation of Bio-Metric attendance and High Speed Internet Connectivity in the Hostels so that students can attend the online classes without hindrance.
At P.G (Boys) Hostel Jammu, the Director interacted with the ST students of various Districts pursuing different Degrees in Universities. He directed the warden of P.G Boys Hostel for immediate establishment of Digital Library in the Hostel.
The Director was accompanied by Coordinator/Nodal Officer of the ST/G&B Hostels Javaid Ahmad Parray and other Officials of the Directorate.
