BANDIPORA: As part of Jan Abhiyan, Director Rural Sanitation J&K, Charandeep Singh Wednesday visited SK Bala Village of the district and took stock of the development works going on in the area.
The Director during the visit met several public delegations and listened to the demands pertaining to different aspects of day to day life.
On the occasion, the Director inaugurated several Community Sanitary Complexes (CSCs) constructed under SBM (G) and PRI Grants in the area and also inspected the spots of Amrit Sarovar.
DDC Chairperson Bandipora Abdul Gani Bhat, DDC Member Hajin, ACD Bandipora Abdul Rashid Dass, Assistant Commissioner Panchayat Altaf Hussain, BDO Hajin Dr Nazir, revenue officials and officials from different departments were present on the occasion.
The Director assured the people that every genuine grievance put forth will be redressed in a time bound manner.
Singh also took stock of the various developmental works, work on springs under Amrit Sarovar, drainage system, sanitation systems and many other works executed under B2V programmes.
