JAMMU: In a proactive move towards ensuring the success of the Swachh Bharat Mission-Gramin, the Director General Rural Sanitation, Jammu and Kashmir, Anoo Malhotra presided over a comprehensive district-wise review meeting, here today.

 The meeting witnessed active participation from the Assistant Commissioners of Panchayat (ACPs), underlining the collaborative approach towards achieving the mission’s objectives.

The Director General emphasized the pivotal role each district plays in the Swachh Bharat Mission, urging ACPs to intensify efforts to promote sanitation and hygiene at the grassroots level. The Director General meticulously analyzed the progress of ongoing initiatives, highlighting successful practices and addressing challenges faced by different districts.

Malhotra presented a strategic roadmap for the upcoming phases of the Swachh Bharat Mission, emphasizing the need for creative solutions to address unique challenges in each district.
