Over 120 candidates get benefit of expert guidance
DODA: District Employment & Counselling Centre Doda today held an online counselling session for the students pursuing B.Sc. (with Physics as their main subject) and M.Sc. Physics.
Over 120 students participated in the session. The resource person for the session was Shital Devinder,- Photonics research scholar in Indian Institute of Technology Delhi.
He introduced the students to some major areas of the subject. He also introduced them to some historical problems which were solved with the course of time. In addition to this, the speaker talked about the cutting edge research which is going on in the field and encouraged students to pursue a career in physics.
The resource person also discussed the major career option in the field of physics in India.
The students were encouraged to pursue different programs in physics offered by various institutions in India. At last he responded to the questions of the students regarding the subject and career opportunities that they can avail in future.
