SHOPIAN: The District Development Commissioner (DDC) Shopian, Sachin Kumar Vaishya today visited various areas of the district to take first hand appraisal of progress on developmental projects/works.
During the visit, the DDC inspected the Tehsil Office, Hermain and demarcation process of 150 kanals of Kahcharai land at Aalamgunj Hermain Shopian. He directed Tehsildar, Hermain to speed up the demarcation process on a war-footing basis to ensure the retrieval of state land immediately.
The DDC enroute to Hermain interacted with the people who apprised him of their problems. He listened to their issues and demands and assured for redressal within a time bound manner.
Vaishya also inspected RDD works executed under 14th FC at Hermain Shopian and directed the concerned to expedite the pace of ongoing developmental works on top priority. He directed the Officers to work in a collective and responsible manner for redressing the issues of the people who have great expectations with the Government. He directed them to pace up the speed of work to ensure the timely completion of these works.
The DDC during the visit was accompanied by Additional Deputy Commissioner, Shopian, Mushtaq Ahmad Simnani, Chief Planning Officer, Khursheed Ahmed Khatana and other senior officers/ officials of executing agencies.
