POONCH: District Development Commissioner Poonch, Rahul Yadav today presided over the Block Diwas Proceedings here at Block Headquarter Surankote.
During the Block Diwas, several issues were raised by PRIs and BDC chairperson like augmentation of water and power supply, Medicare facility and other specific issues including Eidguah to Dodi road, Malik Market to Middle school Galutti road, Mastandara to Draba Malikpur market road, construction of additional classrooms for boys Hr. sec. school Surankote, transformer for Malikpur market under Deendyal scheme, verification of BPL beneficiaries and other issues related to day to day life.
The DDC gave patient hearing to the issues and demands and gave on the spot direction to the concerned department for early redress of the same. He also assured that all their genuine grievances will be resolved in a time bound manner.
The DDC also reviewed the functioning of health department specifically regarding the achievement made for COVID-Vaccination. He directed the BMO Surankote to make the people aware about the importance of COVID-19 Vaccination.
