Asks for accelerating pace of works on projects for their time bound completion
POONCH: District Development Commissioner, Poonch, Rahul Yadav convened a meeting with the concerned officers to review the progress achieved under Capex budget,B2V and TSP in the district.
The DDC took a detailed stock of the physical and financial achievements under different projects being executed by different executing agencies including in the district. Issues pertaining to the execution of works on these projects were also discussed in detail.
The DDC asked the concerned Executive Engineers to speed up the work by mobilising their men and machinery to ensure time bound completion of these projects, so that benefits reach to the targeted public.
He also asked the concerned officers to bring in his notice the impeding issues, if any so that the same can be resolved to avoid delay in the execution of the projects.
The DDC also directed to keep in consideration all the requisite Covid health advisories and SOPs at the work sites. The DDC also stressed on regular field visits by the officers to ensure works are executed on time and under set quality parameters.
The meeting was attended by the Chief Planning Officer, SE Hydraulic, District Social Welfare Officer, Chief Medical Officer, Additional Treasury Officers besides other concerned officers.
