KULGAM: District Development Commissioner (DDC) Kulgam, Showkat Aijaz Bhat, today chaired a meeting of concerned officers to review arrangements put in place for celebration of National event in the district.
The meeting discussed threadbare arrangements including security, seating arrangement as per Covid protocol, car parking, transportation, illumination of buildings, refreshments, accommodation, sanitation and other arrangements.
It was informed that the national flag will be unfurled by the chief guest followed by the parade comprising the contingents from JKP, CRPF, NCC cadets and other contingents.
The DDC issued instructions to all concerned departments to induce advance arrangements for smooth conduct of the function across the district with strict adherence to COVID-19 SOPs at all levels.
Concerned departments were directed to make proper arrangements for trouble free rehearsals and final day celebration.
ADDC, Riyaz Ahmad Sofi, A-SP, Mohammad Yousuf, ADC, ACD, Dy-SP-DAR ,Commandant CRPF- 18th BTN, Dy- CEO, Executive Engineers of R&B, PHE, District Youth Services and Sports Officer, and other district and sectoral officers attended the meeting.
