KULGAM: The District Development Commissioner (DDC) Kulgam, Showkat Aijaz Bhat today chaired a meeting of officers to review the status of languishing projects of Jal Shakti Department (JSD) that are under execution in CAPEX, NABARD and other schemes.
During the meeting, the concerned officers informed the DDC about the present status of all projects under execution.
The DDC took a detailed review of all projects and directed the officers to ensure completion of all work projects within the stipulated time frame and without compromising with the quality.
Earlier, DDC reviewed the status of implementation of JJM (Jal Jeevan Mission) in the district.
During the meeting, the DDC directed the concerned officers to ensure cent percent coverage of all schools and Anganwadi Centres by piped water.
The meeting was attended by SE, Hydraulics, ADDC, JD Planning, Ex. Engineers of Jal Shakti Department, Kulgam, Qazigund, AEE, CEO and other concerned officers.
