DC asks line deptts to gear up for deliverance of designated services

KISHTWAR: District Development Commissioner, Rajinder Singh Tara today asked line departments to gear up for the deliverance of designated services and cent percent coverage of eligible persons under individual beneficiary oriented schemes during the ongoing 3 week  ‘Jan Abhiyan’.

Chairing a  meeting of District officers here, the DDC said  that the 21 day Jan Abhiyan /Awami Muhim being held in the run up to the ‘Back to Village’ phase 3.

The meeting was attended by Additional District Development Commissioner, Mohammad Hanief Malik; Additional Deputy Commissioner, Pawan Parihar; Joint Director Planning, Mohammad Iqbal; Assistant Commissioner Development, Kishore Singh Katoch; District Social welfare officer, Tariq Parveaz Qazi, besides other District and sectoral officers.

At the outset, the DDC called upon the departments to ensure 100% saturation of individual beneficiaries oriented schemes.

He asked for completing the Aadhaar Seeding and Aadhaar generation of every eligible beneficiary by October 1, 2020.

He exhorted upon the departments to organise special camps on Block Diwas/ Youm-e- block at block levels to map the scope of schemes of respective departments and redress their issues within  21 days of Abhiyan with proper  documentation of proceedings.

The DDC said a robust strategy needs to be followed to identify the issues of public welfare for which officers and field functionaries need to be geared up.

He said public services camps would be organised at Panchayat level during which   category certificates, Domicile, Ration cards, Pension, KCC, Health Gold cards, MGNREGA, Labour Card, PM Kissan, Driving License, Registration Certificate  etc shall be delivered to maximum applicants.

The DDC also reviewed the department wise status of the ongoing development works in the District. He directed the concerned departments to chalk out the plan approved by the gram panchayats for 136 panchayats of districts for the utilization of Rs 10 lakh earmarked under Back to Village phase 3.

Furthermore, concerned departments were directed to publish the booklets and the leaflets depicting their various welfare schemes and the SOPs for COVID-19 protection to be distributed during the campaign camps.

He said priority must be given to complete left out projects of B2 -01 and B2V -02.
