KISHTWAR: The District Rent Assessment Committee, which met here today under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner, Ashok Sharma, approved 28 rent cases.
The rent cases pertaining to Police, Army, Revenue, PMGSY, Education, Youth services and Sports, SFC, Animal Husbandry, CA&PD, Handicraft, Agriculture, Health, besides PwD department were approved by the Committee.
The Committee discussed the fixation of rent of various structures in which various government offices are functioning across the district.
The meeting was attended by Additional Deputy Commissioner, Pawan Parihar; District Social Welfare officer, Tariq Parveaz Qazi; Tehsildar Mughalmaidan, Nayeem Iqbal Sheikh; Dy S P Pardeep Sen; BDO, Thakrie Sheetal Sharma; Chief Education Officer, Ashok Kumar; XEns of PWD, PMGSY, Quarter master 26RR Amit Huda, besides the concerned district officers.
Addressing the meeting, the Deputy Commissioner asked the officers to pay rent to the concerned owners of land and structures on time and ensure safety of the Government/rented property. He further asked the intending authorities to pay the approved rent along with the arrear after the title verification certificate is issued from concerned Tehsildar.
Besides the Xen PwD Division Kishtwar Romesh Jamwal was directed to re-verify the pending cases and submit the same in next meeting.
