KATHUA: Deputy Commissioner, Om Parkash Bhagat today chaired a meeting to review the arrangements put in place for the smooth conduct of JKSSB examination for the post of Accounts Assistant Panchayat.
The ADC Kathua Atul Gupta (Observer) ADC Billawar Sandesh Kumar Sharma, ADC Basohli, Tilak Raj Thapa, SDM Hiranagar, Rakesh Sharma heads of different educational institutions where the examination centers have been established and various others concerned attended the meeting
The meeting was informed that a total of 12724 candidates are appearing for the post of Panchayat Account Assistant in the district for which about 50 centers have been established across the district.
The DC directed the concerned officers to ensure deployment of sufficient staff at the centers with the provision of back up staff to meet any exigency. Arrangements related to transportation of examination material were also discussed in length.
Threadbare discussions were also held with regard to the posting of Magistrates, supervisory staff, examination observers, videography besides training of staff and other necessary facilities for smooth conduct of examination.
