KATHUA: District Development Commissioner Kathua, Om Prakash today convened weekly public outreach programme here at PWD rest House Billawar.
Additional SP Kathua, Ramnish Gupta; ADC Billawar Sandesh Kumar Sharma and other concerned officers were also present.
The People hailing from different areas of Billawar and adjoining Blocks apprised the DDC about their issues, grievances and demands.
The DDC assured the deputations and individuals that their issues and demands will be duly registered and taken up with concerned departments, while he resolved many issues on the spot.
The DDC said the Block Diwas initiative has been devised to ensure governance redress of the people at their doorsteps, who otherwise have to cover long distances to apprise the same to the administration.
