GANDERBAL: Deputy Commissioner (DC) Ganderbal, Shafqat Iqbal today exhorted upon the officials of line departments to ensure cent percent saturation in Individual beneficiary schemes.
He said this during a meeting of concerned officers to review the progress on implementation of schemes in the district.
During the meeting threadbare discussion was held on the progress of registration of beneficiaries, awareness of schemes during Jan Abhiyan and issues hampering the registration of beneficiaries.
The DC sought details, scheme wise from all concerned officials about the achievements made under each scheme pertaining to their departments besides disbursement of financial assistance among beneficiaries.
Speaking on the occasion, the DC stressed upon the line departments to work in tandem and coordination and ensure that the targets fixed already are achieved well in time.
He took strong note of pendency in some schemes and directed the concerned officials to ensure the targets are achieved till ending of this month.
The DC urged upon the line departments to install stalls on Block Diwas and organize awareness programmes about various individual beneficiary schemes.
Meanwhile, the DC urged upon the people for maximum participation in the Jan Abhiyan to know about the Individual beneficiary schemes and avail their benefits as per their eligibility.
The meeting was attended by the Additional Deputy Commissioner Ganderbal, Farooq Ahmad Baba, Chief Planning Officer, Chief Education Officer, CMO, Chief Agriculture officer, Chief Horticulture Officer, DSWO, AD Food and other officials of line departments.
