GANDERBAL: District Development Commissioner (DDC) Ganderbal, Shafqat Iqbal today chaired a meeting to review the status of projects funded under Rural Infrastructure Development Fund (RIDF) of NABARD in the district.
The meeting was informed that as many as 38 projects are funded under RIDF of NABARD in the district under different sectors including PHE, I&FC, Sheep Husbandry and Health department.
While reviewing the progress on these projects, the concerned briefed the DDC about the physical as well as financial progress on these projects and deliberations were also held to address various issues related to fund flow, submission of Project Completion Certificates, Utilization Certificates of the projects besides issues hampering progress of non-starter and slow moving projects.
The DDC urged upon the implementing agencies to speed up expenditure in the ongoing projects and forward Project Completion Certificates and Utilization Certificate of the projects which are completed and project proposals to NABARD for funding.
Chief Planning Officer Ganderbal, Superintending Engineer, R&B Ganderbal, Executive Engineers of Jal Shakti (PHE) and (I&FC), District Development Manager, NABARD besides officials from Health, Sheep Husbandry and other concerned participated in the meeting.
