SAMBA: Deputy Commissioner, Rohit Khajuria today flagged off a five day trekking expedition of boys and girls of the district here.
The inter zonal district level trekking expedition is being organised by department of Youth Services and sports for under 17 and under 19 boys from November 2 to November 6 and from 7 November to 11 November for girls.
The activities to be held during the expedition includes Trekking from Dhalote to Goran, Dhalote to Jattah via Taloor and Dhalote to Renki Bain with base camp stationed at Dhalote. Total number of participants is 50 and officials are 10.
Additional Deputy Commissioner Suram Chand Sharma, District Youth Services and Sports officer Kiran Jyoti, In-activities Rekha Sambyal besides other officials were also present at the flagging of ceremony.
