DODA: The authorities today assured that a feasible solution, as per the technical merits and aspirations of the people, would be reached for re-alignment of National Highway (244) along Thathri Township.
To ensure hassle free and speedy construction of NH 244 from Khaleni to Thathri, Deputy Commissioner Doda, Vikas Sharma and ED, NHIDCL Jammu visited Thathri and listened to the representatives of locals regarding re-alignment of the highway near the Thathri market/main town.
The team of officers listened to the issues highlighted by representatives, deputations, besides the locals.
The DDC informed them that the district administration in coordination with the NHIDCL authorities will review the projected issues and assure a feasible solution by taking in account the technical aspects of the project and aspirations of locals.
Others present during the visit were Superintendent Engineer PWD, GM NHIDCL (LA), SDM Thathri, RODAIC Consultants, besides other officers/Officials of Revenue and NHIDCL.
