DODA: District Election Officer, Dr Sagar D Doifode today chaired a meeting of ROs and AROs and briefed them about various aspects regarding upcoming District Development Council elections.
The DEO informed that elections shall be conducted across all 14 DDC constituencies in 8 phases for which 697 polling stations have been established across the district.
Further DEO said that the elections shall be conducted through ballot paper on non party basis for which notification is likely to be issued soon by the State Election Commission.
He stressed them to understand all the basic aspects for the conduct of smooth DDC elections.
Meanwhile Dy DEO Doda and Master Trainer Fayaz Mehta briefed the participants about the process of nominations, conduct of elections in detailed manner.
Others present at the meeting were ADDC Doda, ADC Bhaderwah, CEO Bhaderwah Dev. Authority, GM, DIC , SDMs, SP operation etc.
