DDC Budgam takes stock of B2V3 proceedings at Beerwah

BUDGAM: The District Development Commissioner, Budgam, Shahbaz Ahmed Mirza today took stock of the proceedings of the government’s ambitious B2V3 programme at Beerwah.

While addressing the people, he said B2V3 is a unique initiative aimed to push up the developmental scenario of rural areas with visible impact on ground and added that under this programme the administration reaches out to the people at grassroots level and involves them in this process of development.

The DDC further said that B2V is a vital platform and provides an opportunity for the administration and public to sit together and work for development and a prosperous future.

During the visit, the residents of the Beerwah put forth several developmental issues of their area, the DDC assured them that all genuine grievances and issues would be looked into and necessary action would be taken by the concerned departments.

He said that all the grievances registered by the locals before the visiting officer will be properly documented and follow up action will be taken.

Later, DDC distributed brush cutter, water motor, sports items, domicile certificates, Ladli Beti sanction letters, hearing aids, and wheelchairs among the beneficiaries.

Earlier, the DDC also inspected stall put up by the Horticulture Department highlighting their key activities and products.

Simultaneously, the last day of B2V3 program marked the presence of various visiting officers including Special Secretary Department of Law, Justice and Parliamentary affairs Abdul Rashid Fayaz, Special Secretary Home, Gh. Mohi-ud-din, GM DIC Pulwama, Dr. Zahoor Ahmad Magray.

The visiting officers conducted comprehensive camp wherein grievances and other issues were discussed and registered for submission to higher authorities.

The visiting officers on the last day of B2V3 program distributed uniforms among school going kids and sports kits among youth.
