BUDGAM: Jan Abhiyan Sunwai showing enormous response from General Public all cross Budgam. These remarks were made by District Development Commissioner Budgam, Shahbaz Ahmed Mirza  today while observing the feedback since its launching on  September 10, 2020.

While recognizing the proactive role being played officers, DDC said that concerned departments and designated teams are positively conducting routine camps. As per agenda given, all departments in their capacity are minutely taking appraisal of grievances’/Problems relating to the issues pertaining under their Jurisdiction.

While elaborating on the progress the DDC said all the departments are trying hard in ensuring to redress the most of the grievances on spot. He said people demonstrating good response in putting forward their all issues particularly relating to basic  needs like adequate drinking water facility, power supply, improvement of LT lines, Improvement and Macdamisation of Roads, Desliting of Kuls and Nallahs, inclusion of pending beneficiaries under  welfare schemes from reserved  poor and under-privileged class, implementation women empowerment schemes, speedy disposal of KCC Cases, student scholarships cases  and Artisans Based schemes.

DDC further said that Jan abhiyan has emerged as successful step initiated to address and appraisal of the issues of common man. He said that  first 10 days  of the program has shown tremendous ground results for on spot Redressal of the problems which sprouted new faith  and trust among general public towards  initiative.

Moreover, The DDC said during the corresponding  period on spot driving licenses were given, scholarships were sanctioned  and other  welfare cases pertaining to poor and underprivileged people were successfully solved.

Besides, during the programme, department of Agriculture and Horticulture demonstrated and provided latest technology tools required for the respective sectors. Similarly, departments including Animal and Sheep husbandry, and fisheries in their capacity also had made subsequent arrangements to distribute their production material required for establishing  Micro units of Dairy, Sheep and Fish farms.
