ANANTNAG: District Development Commissioner (DDC) Anantnag, K K Sidha today convened a meeting of concerned officers to review ensuing Muharam ul Haram arrangements.
The DDC directed the concerned officers to ensure supply of Rice, Atta, and LPG, round the clock power and water supply, tanker service, sanitization and fumigation and health care facilities in all Imambaras.
He appealed the Shia community to strictly follow Covid-19 SOPs and guidelines including social distancing and usage of Face masks.
The DDC also announced distribution of 5 qtls of sugar and rice for each imambara on the occasions of 10th Muharam and also issued orders for free supply of masks for people of all 5 villages of Shia dominated areas.
The meeting was attended by ADC, SP, Ex. Er’s of PHE, PDD, EOs, BDC Chairpersons, Presidents of MCs and Representatives of Shia dominated 5 villages of the district.
