RAMBAN: Deputy Commissioner, Ramban, Mussarat Islam, today visited the District Hospital (DH) to review the progress on the under construction 1500 LPM Medical Oxygen Gas Plant, besides the functioning of recently installed equipments.
The DC was accompanied by the Medical Superintendent, District Hospital Ramban, Dr. Hameed Zargar and other concerned officers. He took a round of the plant and inquired about its overall functioning.
Meanwhile, the Deputy Commissioner also inspected the arrangements put in place for management and treatment of Covid-19 patients.
The Deputy Commissioner also went around the wards and interacted with the patients and attendants and informed them about the SEHAT scheme which provides Universal Health Insurance Coverage of Rs. 5.00 lakh to all residents of J&K UT.
The DC directed the Medical Superintendent to sensitize the patients and their attendants about the flagship health insurance scheme.
While interacting with the patients and attendants, the DC advised them to wear masks and maintain physical distance in order to prevent Covid-19 infection. He also directed the hospital administration to ensure that all medical facilities are extended to OPD and IPD patients in a hassle-free manner.
