KUPWARA: The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kupwara, Imam Din today visited the family of Mushtaq Ahmad Mir, a resident of Sirajpora Vilgam who was reportedly killed in Ferozepur area of Punjab yesterday.
SP Handwara, Sandeep Gupta, DDC Members of Ramhall and Nutnussa besides Tehsildar Handwara accompanied the DC during the visit.
On the occasion, the DC expressed sympathy with the bereaved family and assured of every possible support from the administration. He also provided a cheque of Rs.10,000 to the family under District Red Cross Fund.
