KUPWARA: The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kupwara, Doifode Sagar Dattatray today inaugurated the Sub National TB Free Certification (SNTBFC) drive at D.C Office, here.
Chief Medical Officer Kupwara, Bashir Ahmad; Block Medical Officers besides, paramedical staff and ASHA workers were present at the occasion.
On the occasion, it was informed that under Sub National TB Free Certification, a door to door household survey shall be conducted in all 10 medical blocks of the district to identify the patients with symptoms of Tuberculosis.
It was also informed that the survey shall be carried out by the volunteers with the help of GPS based mobile app. The survey will start today and will last for 25 days.
It was further informed that the district Kupwara has applied for TB Free status through the Central Tuberculosis Division.
