Aid, appliances distributed among differently-abled children
KULGAM: Chief Education Office Kulgam in Collaboration with ALIMCO under the banner of Samagra Shikhsha organized a three days distribution cum fitment camp for children with special needs at Kulgam.
This camp was inaugurated by the Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kulgam, Dr. Bilal Mohi-Ud-Din Bhat.
While interacting with these specially-abled children, the DC said that administration is committed towards welfare and upliftment of specially-abled persons.
During the camp, 350 differently abled children were provided relevant aids and appliances as per need already assessed by a team of professionals and experts from ALIMCO in the previous assessment camp organized w.e.f 28/10/2022 to 30/10/2022.
The aids and appliances provided include Tricycle conventional, wheel chairs, CP Chairs, MR kits, Digital type hearing aids, Brail kits, Sugumya, Smart phones, Crutch elbow adjustable and other appliances for visually impaired students.
Present on the occasion were CEO Kulgam, Mushtaq Ahmad Qadri; ZEO Ataa Mohammad and other officers.
