UDHAMPUR: Deputy Commissioner Udhampur, Saloni Rai today conducted a comprehensive inspection of the ongoing construction work of the new Government Medical College (GMC) in Bailey.
During the visit, the DC meticulously reviewed each construction component, assessed the current progress, and emphasized the resolution of any bottlenecks affecting the project’s execution.
DC urged the executing agency to adopt a double-shift work schedule with heightened enthusiasm and synergy, aiming to meet the project’s completion within the designated timeframe.
Emphasizing the efficient mobilization of available resources, she directed the executing agencies to work productively to achieve optimal results. The DC instructed the Principal GMC to closely coordinate with the agency to accelerate the pace of the construction work.
Among others, Principal GMC Udhampur, Executive Engineer’s, PWD and PHE and other officers were accompanying the DC.
During the visit, the DC also inspected the ongoing works of Jal Jeevan Mission in the area and directed the executing agencies to expedite the progress and complete as per the timeline.
