Seeks quality works, formulation of project after proper ground level exercise
DODA: Deputy Commissioner Doda, Vikas Sharma today reviewed the progress of key programmes and projects taken up under Languishing scheme and District Capex here at marathon meeting of the line departments.
During the meeting, the DC reviewed in detail the sector and scheme wise progress achieved by various departments. He inquired about the deadlines set for major developmental projects under implementation in the district.
The DC further discussed in detail the progress of the line departments as per the already devised monthly monitoring formats, besides took stock of the bottlenecks impending the developmental process if any in the district.
The DC asked the planning section to submit the list of all the proposed or ongoing development projects costing above Rs 100 crore. He also directed the PWD to conduct the safety audit of all the primary and middle schools, while Fire and Emergency department was asked to take stock of fire safety of all the Government buildings in the district.
The DC asked to expedite the registration of eligible beneficiaries for all individual benefit schemes, including Ayushman Bharat PM-JAY SEHAT scheme, PMMVY, JSY, MGNREGA, besides stressed upon them to complete all the projects under languishing scheme.
The DC impressed upon all the departments to conduct proper ground level exercise before proposing any work in future, so that the work proposed in were completed in time. He further asked them to remain present in their respective jurisdictions and stay well versed with the functioning of their departments.
