Takes stock of covid control measures in Bhaderwah
DODA: Deputy Commissioner (DC) Doda, Vikas Sharma today took stock of the ongoing civil work on Oxygen generation plant and availability of oxygen generation module and compressors.
It was apprised that civil work shall be completed by tomorrow, while oxygen generation module has also reached and installation shall be ensured within few days.
The DC directed the concerned to handover the hall to the mechanical department to start the installation of the Oxygen generation module. The Ex En Mechanical was asked to get the installation done in coordination with the concerned agency at the earliest.
The DC was accompanied by Chief Medical Officer, Medical Superintendent Associated Hospital GMC Doda, besides other concerned officials.
Meanwhile, the Deputy Commissioner visited Bhaderwah and inspected progress on various developmental projects, besides taking review of the covid control measures taken by the local administration.
During the tour, the DC visited Thanthera and took stock of the land identified for the creation of herbal plants nursery and also visited Chabra area to get the first hand appraisal of the ongoing work on High Altitude Medicinal Plant, besides reviewing the progress on construction of park at Seri bazar.
The DC directed the concerned authorities to expedite the work on both the projects. The ADC was asked to monitor the progress on a daily basis for their timely completion.
The DC also inspected the quarantine centres, and Sub District Hospital, and took stock of the functioning of Manifold oxygen plant in the institution. The DC directed the concerned to take advance measures to avoid shortage of oxygen cylinders.
Later, the DC held a meeting with key Officials of local and health administration and directed them to augment the capacity of quarantine facilities in the area.
