Inspects progress of ongoing developmental works
UDHAMPUR: To take stock of ongoing developmental works and mega projects being executed in different sectors in the district, Deputy Commissioner, Udhampur Krittika Jyotsna today conducted an extensive tour of Mantalai area.
During the whirlwind tour, the DC inspected the progress of developmental works being executed in different sectors. En-route, the DC also visited Bupp and Mantalai for identifying land for KV School and interacted with PRI members and listened to their issues and demands.
Inspecting ongoing developmental works, the DC directed the concerned departments to expedite the pace of progress and ensure timely completion. She asked the executing agency to gear up men and machinery and complete the ongoing works within the stipulated time frame.
The DC also reviewed the progress of work on the International Yoga centre at Mantalai. The executing agencies were directed to expedite the pace of work on the prestigious project and ensure its completion within the stipulated time frame.
DDC Councillor, Pinky Devi; BDC Chairman, Parkash Chand; Additional District Development Commissioner, Ghan Shyam Singh, SDM Chenani and other officers and PRI members were accompanying the DC.
