BUDGAM: In order to check the status of ground adherence of all SOPs and other guidelines post easing of restrictions, DDC Budgam Shahbaz Ahmed Mirza today in this connection had a surprise visit to various markets and other spots where assembling of gatherings always took place. During the visit the DDC observed that most of the people are not following the necessary Covid-19 SOPs and other precautions, even not daring to wear masks and maintain social distance.
Taking strong note of the leniency the general public is demonstrating, the DDC categorically reiterated that no one will be allowed to violate the directions issued by Administration. During the inspections, many shopkeepers, drivers, pedestrians and other violators of guidelines were on spot fined and also were warned to refrain themselves from violating the SOPs in future, otherwise face strict action under rules.
