BARAMULLA: The district administration Baramulla today held a meeting and discussed the status of public grievances received from Lieutenant Governor’s specially established online grievance redressal portal. ADDC, ADC ,SDMs, heads of various departments, district and sectoral officers were, among others, present in the meeting.
On the occasion, it was given out that about 466 online grievances pertaining to various departments were registered, out of which 86 have been addressed while the remaining are in different phases of execution.
The Deputy Commissioner stressed upon the concerned officers to ensure timely and prompt redressal of all the grievances. He said that an effective and proper grievance redressal mechanism is the cornerstone of a welfare administration, adding that district administration is working with utmost zeal and dedication towards addressing the issues of people in a convenient and hassle free manner.
Moreover, DC directed the concerned officers to ensure all the registered grievances Are addressed in the minimum possible time frame.
