Congress criticises govt for power black out, supports Power employees

Srinagar:  Congress has supported the issues raised by the power employees and termed the privitisation of power against the intrests of common consumers especially poor public and demanded it’s roll back. 

JKPCC Chief Spokesperson Mr Ravinder Sharma has criticised the government over the total black out in most parts of Jammu kashmir, causing great hardships to the general public and the ailing person’s besides badly disrupting the water supply. He said that the government is adamant to go ahead with its ill designed ,anti consumers and anti employees moves resulting into avoidable deadlock in talks, forcing employees to go on strike. 

 The party said that government should shun it’s anti people and anti employees attitude and revisit it’s pro corporate and pro rich decisions and hold meaningful dialogue with the employees unions immediately. 

The general public is suffering due to the power black out in the harsh winters and it is the responsibility of the government to provide regular power and water supply to the general public. The issues raised by the the employees mostly pertain to the intrests of the common people and poor consumers and all right thinking people and organizations should support them, the Chief Spokesperson added.
