Srinagar: Scores Ist semester students from Cluster University Srinagar on Wednesday staged protest in Press Enclave and demanded their examination to be conducted online.
The aggrieved students assembled in the premises of Press Enclave here and raised slogans against the Cluster University Srinagar and demanded justice.
One of the female students from UG Ist Semester during the protest said that the Cluster University has issued a datesheet recently for their examination in which they are told to appear offline.
She said that during the lingering threat of a third wave across the country, it is not possible to appear for offline examination. “As you know the threat of covid’s third wave is around the corner and not all teachers and students are vaccinated yet, so how can we participate in exams (offline). It is totally unfair,” the student said.
She further said that their demand is to hold the examination online instead of offline.
However, another student of Ist semester also demanded to conduct the examination online and said that they had appeared for classes at college for a few days only.
She and other students reiterated to conduct their upcoming examination online.
