SRINAGAR: JK Christian minority welfare association organised a Christmas get-together today on 30th of December to celebrate the festivity and share the joy of religious occasion.
The event was graced by the valued presence of Hira Lal Abrol President Healthy India Strong India, who the Chief Guest on the occasion while Lazar Kandaraya, S. Dalbir Singh, Divansh Singh Jamwal, Shoukat Gujjar and Rahul Tandon glorified the event as the guest of honour.
The programme was started with the prayer of Gafoor Masih followed by Christmas Carols by Simon Paul and Anney and their Team. Bro. Simon Share the word of God from the Holy Bible
Nasir Masih Chairman while welcome the special Guests to commemoration of the birth of the Holy one of Bethlehem said the programme was organised by JK Christian minority welfare association on the occasion of Christmas to cherish the peace, love and brotherhood in the society, its focused on building relationship between various groups and commitment to build a strong India for future. Exhorting the purpose of Christ born to the world was to bring darkness to light and liberation from sins.
Hira Lal Abrol appreciated the efforts of JKCMWA for organising this ceremony and said such events would help in promotion of interfaith harmony in the country. He further said the festivities of Christmas teach us universal love, tolerance and self-sacrifice which play a pivotal role in moving any society on the path of development. The sincere and invaluable services rendered by the Christians in the fields education, health and social service had always been commendable.
Michael Wazir President was beholden to the esteemed guests for bestowing honour upon the organisation with their benignant presence.
