RAMBAN: Inter-district, UT level Carrom tournament for boys for U 17 and U 19 commenced at Government Higher Secondary School, Ramban here today.
The tourney hosted by the Department of Youth Services and Sports in coordination with the District Administration, was formally declared open in the presence of Assistant Director Mool Raj Uttam.
A large number of sports children from Kashmir valley are also participating in the event.
The department has organized back- to- back UT level events in Ramban which will help in promotion of sports culture in the district.
Earlier, District Youth Services and Sport Officer, Dharmveer Singh informed that as many as 120 students from 14 districts of both divisions are participating in the competition.
