KISHTWAR: To redress the grievances of the people at their doorsteps, Block Diwas programmes were today held here at the designated locations under the overall supervision of District Development Commissioner, Ashok Sharma.
Block Diwas was held at block headquarter Paddar under the chairmanship of SDM Paddar Varunjeet Singh Charak. BDC chairperson, Arpan Singh Rana, DDC member Hari Krishan Chauhan, Tehsildar, Major Singh, Block Medical Officer, Dr Raj Kumar besides other field functionaries of Various departments were present on the occasion.
Delegations led by elected representatives highlighted demands regarding the upgradation of education & health institutions; road infrastructure and streamlining of the various public deliverance services in the area.
Most of the grievances were redressed on the spot by passing slew of directions, while the concerned department were asked to address rest of the issues in time bound manner.
Besides, a number of individual oriented beneficiary certificates which includes 41 domicile certificates, 09 Category certificates, 05 ncome certificates and 34 character certificate were issued in favour of the applicants.
Similar Block Divas programme were organised at MS Singhpora, Chhatroo under the chairmanship of SDM, Inderjeet Singh Parihar.
A total of 18 Domicile certificates and 02 income certificates were issued on the spot.
At Block headquarter Drabshalla the block Diwas was held at BDO office under the supervision of the ACR, Dr Amir Hussain.
