B2V3 programme observed in 56 PH’s of Pulwama

PULWAMA: On 7th day of B2V3 today, series of activities were carried out in 56 Panchayat Halqas (PH’s) of 11blocks of Pulwama district.

Visiting Officers took stock of the status of work done of demands raised in B2V1 & B2V2 held during 2019. They also heard the demands of the public with regard to the local issues besides development of basic infrastructure.

District Development Commissioner (DDC) Dr Raghav Langer visited Panchayat Halqas Tahab, Wagam, Nowpora paen in block Litter and listened to the peoples issues and demands.

The DDC on the occasion asked the public to take advantage of B2V3 and enlist their demands as an initiative of Governance at the door steps of the general public has been ensured.

The DDC during the visit asked the public to identify their priority works that can be forwarded for next year’s district plan under various centrally/ state sponsored schemes and identify two educated youth for financial assistance under PMEGP for entrepreneurship.

He also asked for identification of deserving students who will be provided financial assistance, uniform and books.

In all the Panchayat Halqas, DDC inspected the stalls installed by different departments and enquired about the grievance redressal mechanism being adopted to satisfy the public.

He interacted with hundreds of people who had attended the B2V3 and listened to their issues and grievances and distributed sporting kits among School children, income and domicile certificates.

He also handed over Baby Kits to newly born girl children under BBBP besides distributing sanction letters under Ladli Beti Scheme.

The DDC also distributed wheelchairs, hearing aids, walking sticks among the persons with disabilities.

During the event school children displayed various sporting activities like Martial Arts, Chess competitions, Soft ball and Tug of war.
