123 Domicile, 12 Job Cards, 9 category certificates issued at Nagri
KATHUA: The outreach activities under pre- B2V3- Jan Abhiyan are gaining momentum at Panchayat and Block levels here across the Kathua District.
The third day of the 21 days long development oriented campaign witnessed two block level camps held at Marheen and Hiranagar Block headquarters. District Development Commissioner O.P. Bhagat supervised the proceedings at Block Hiranagar. The directions were passed to the concerned departments to prioritize works left out during earlier two phases of B2V. He further asked to sensitize the people about mandatory Aadhaar seeding before September 30 , 2020 so that they continue to avail benefit under individual oriented beneficiaries schemes.
The DDC said Jan Abhiyan and B2V3 is a good opportunity for all stakeholders to work in tandem to fulfill developmental aspirations of rural populace.
Officers of Animal Husbandry, Agriculture, Fisheries Departments educated the people about various Centrally sponsored schemes and explained its scope in enhancing their income.
At Marheen, Assistant Commissioner Development, Narayan Dutt, in presence of BDC Chairman, listened to the developmental issues of the Sarpanchs & Panchs related to their respective panchayats. He directed BDO Marheen to speed up the works highlighted by the elected representatives.
At Block Nagri, the BDO gave away 123 Domicile Certificates, 12 MGNREGA Job Cards, 7 SC category and 2 OBC category certificates to the applicants.
