BUDGAM: District Level Centre for Women Mahila Shakti Kendra (MSK) Budgam, today, organized awareness programmes on MSK Scheme and other women centric schemes at B.K. Pora, Narbal, Chadoora and Khan Saheb.
On the occasion, the speakers highlighted the role of Mahila Shakti Kendra and newly launched Scheme meant to provide “One Stop Convergent Support Services for Rural Women” with the opportunities for Skill Development, Employment, Digital Literacy, Health and Nutrition.
They also spoke about the Women Specific Schemes such as BBBP, WHL181, OSC, PMMVY, JSY, Ladle Beti, Poshan Abhiyan, Social Welfare Schemes, JKEDI, ICPS and other women related welfare schemes.
The speakers also shed light on Domestic Violence Act and Dowry Act among the participants. The programme was attended by CDPO Haleema Banday, Supervisors, Dr. Shazad Salim, AWW’s and other participants.
