SRINAGAR: The cleanliness drive of Dal Lake is going on since a month under the ATHWAAS initiative of the government and today the drive was started by Mathora Masoom, Director Urban Local Bodies (ULB) who started it by removing weed from Teilbal Nallah.
Besides the Director, 25 students from Legends Public School Naseem Bagh also participated in the said event.
The Director ULB said that it is the need of the hour for all to clean the crown of our Srinagar and all should come forward for these drives.
She also congratulated the efforts taken by LCMA for initiating these steps by which Dal is comparatively cleaner and maintaining its cleanliness is the duty of all.
Among others, Gulzar Ahmad Bhat Collector LCMA, Neelofar Shah Scientist ”A” and officers, officials of LCMA were also present at the event.
