Ganderbal blast: Another injured ASI of CRPF succumbs at SKIMS

SRINAGAR: A CRPF official of an Assistant Sub Inspector rank, who was in a grenade attack at Ganderbal district of Central Kashmir, succumbed at SKIMS, Soura, officials said.

Talking to news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), CRPF spokesman in Srinagar, Pankaj Singh said that ASI Nitra Pal Singh, breathed his last at SKIMS, Soura. He was injured in a grenade attack in Ganderbal on December 24, in which a CRPF constable MrityunJoy had sustained injuries and died later.

Two other CRPF personnel and a government employee who were injured in the blast are being treated at the hospital.
