UDHAMPUR: Assistant Commissioner Labour, Udhampur Pradyot Gupta today called on President Municipal Council, Udhampur Dr Jogeshwar Gupta in his Office Chamber.
He apprised the President about various welfare schemes launched by the Labour department for the socio- economic uplift of poor laboureres under Building and other construction workers Welfare Board.
The President MC appreciated the efforts made by Labour Department for spreading awareness about such social security schemes for labourers. He called upon the people to come forward to avail the schemes specially designed for the upliftment of the labourer class.
Among others, Vice President MC, Surinder Singh Khalsa, Councillor, Vikran Slathia, Samnik Bhasin and Asha Devi were present on the occasion.
