GANDERBAL: On the directions of Deputy Commissioner, Ganderbal, Shafqat Iqbal, Chief Education Officer, Ganderbal, Naheed Neloofar today distributed aids and appliances to Children with Special Needs (CWSN) here.
The aids and appliances distributed among CWSN included Wheel Chairs, Cerebral Palsy Chairs, Smart Cane and MSIED Kits.
The CEO said that these aids and appliances are being provided to CWSN every year under the Inclusive Education Component of Directorate of SamagraShiksha after such children are assessed every year in the Assessment Camps conducted by Samagrashiksha, J&K.
Among others, Incharge Samagra Shiksha, District Coordinator Inclusive Education, Resource Persons and Special Education Teachers under Samagrashiksha, J&K were present during the distribution ceremony.
