SOPORE: The students of Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology (SKUAST) at Wadoora Sopore on Monday staged a protest demonstration against the killings of seven civilians in Kulgam yesterday.
Scores of students assembled at the varsity campus and shouted anti-government and pro-freedom slogans.
Seven civilians were killed and several others injured in Larnoo village in a blast at the site of a gunfight yesterday.
“Our innocent’s brothers are being killed, our houses ransacked and our womenfolk harassed, but the irony is that central government is hardly bothered about us Kashmiris,” rued a student.
