Srinagar: One-day salary of around 32 employees, who were found absent from their duties, was ordered to be cut by Deputy Commissioner Anantnag Dr Piyush Singla on Saturday.
DC Anantnag, along with ADC Ghulam Hassan Sheikh, visited different offices in the district to inspect the attendance of the employees.
During the surprise inspection, 32 employees were found absent, and consequently, their one day salary was ordered to be deducted by DC Dr Piyush Singla.
However, in addition to deducting the salary of the absent employees, DC has said that disciplinary action would also be taken against the employees.
